Evel Knievel is dead

I’m sad. He was so cool with his flashy outfits and awesome jumps. I watched a documentary on him not too long ago. He said he received so much flak for his beliefs. Before he would do a jump, he would get on the mic and make a declaration about something he stood for and believed in. Who does that today?? There was this one time where he was speaking out against the hell’s angels. He was going to do a jump, and a couple of the hell’s angels were messing with him. Well, to make a long story short, the crowd turned into a mob and beat the crap out of the hell’s angels. They were behind Evel 100%. Who does that these days? Who has the balls to make a stand like that? The thing I liked most about Evel Knievel was he was real. That famous jump at Caesar’s Palace beat him up real good, and everybody knew it. Cameras kept rolling and filmed every second of it. That’s what was awesome. He would risk his life, get beat up, and then get back up again to do it all over–and he didn’t hide any of it.
